Drawing upon its extensive Jazz Age repertoire, the Ballyhoo Foxtrot Orchestra is able to offer a variety of programming.

CONCERTS

The majority of the Ballyhoo Foxtrot Orchestra's performances are concert presentations for listening audiences. Our Variety Mix features a broad collection of songs representing a variety of styles ranging from Dixieland to tangos to novelty. There is sure to be something to please everyone. The Patriotic Variety Mix is the same broad collection with a number of patriotic songs included. It is perfect for campaign events and civic celebrations, such as the Fourth of July.

Starting in the fall of 2008, the Ballyhoo Foxtrot will begin offering performances of a musical revue. Titled "I'm Gonna Jazz My Way," this revue will use narration and song to chronicle the remarkable lives of F. Scott Fitzgerald (author of The Great Gatsby) and his wife, Zelda. The show consists of two forty-five minute halves, but may be abridged if necessary.

PARTIES AND RECEPTIONS

The BFO is happy to provide background music for parties and receptions. The band's music and look can be upscale or downscale as the occasion demands. If your event is formal, the band can don tuxedos and recreate the elegance of a Grand Hotel Orchestra, c. 1924. If, on the other hand, your event is loose and casual, the band will feature Hot Jazz, evocative of the boisterous atmosphere of a Speakeasy.

BALLROOM DANCING

If ballroom dancing is your thing, the BFO can provide an evening of dance sets consisting of Foxtrots, Swing, Waltz, Latin, and Polka.
